Storm Manor was a private estate. Without the owner's permission, outsiders naturally could not enter.

Jenny chose to stay in a small town near the manor and rented a room.

To her surprise, Warren and his companion had also come here.

'They're already famous figures in Tallinn, yet they still came to a place like this? Could they be here for the monster too?'

Jenny found it somewhat unbelievable.

There was still plenty of time before sunset. As she walked down the street, she, like Warren and the other man, drew many stares.

In a rural town with so few people, an outsider naturally stood out.

With that in mind, Jenny stopped hiding and walked straight into a run-down bar.

The place clearly served food as well. Since it was still daytime, there were few drunks around.

"I'm a detective."

She approached the counter and called to the bartender. "Are there any strange rumors around here?"

As she spoke, Jenny toyed with a gold coin in her hand.

"Of course there are!"

The bartender's eyes seemed to shimmer with gold. "Our countryside has plenty of old legends. Would you like me to tell them to you one by one?"

"The recent ones!" Jenny emphasized.

"You're a detective? You must have come because of the manor on the mountain, right? The facts have proven that Mr. and Mrs. Smith have no problems... Those rumors were probably false news spread by people deliberately trying to buy up the nearby land!"

The bartender wiped a glass as he spoke.

"Fine... Tell me everything about it in detail, and this is yours."

Jenny pressed the gold coin onto the table.

"No problem."

The bartender smiled and accepted the gold coin.
