Weren't they just afraid that she would rush over and throw her life away, allowing Moryo to become complete in an instant and gain power that would directly overwhelm them?
Still, this suited Alucard's wishes well enough.
He had no clear idea just how strong Moryo would become after reclaiming his body, so whether to let him achieve completion in one step still required observation.
