Wano Country was divided into six major regions. Aside from the Flower Capital at the very center, there were the five regions of Kibi, Kuri, Udon, Hakumai, and Ringo, each governed by one of five daimyo, who together assisted the shogun in the Flower Capital in ruling the entire country.
However, because Wano Country's current shogun, Kurozumi Orochi, had not come by his position legitimately, the original five daimyo had almost all been slaughtered by him. Now, large areas of Wano Country could be said to be in a state with no one governing them at all.
The Ringo region, once quite prosperous and one of the largest areas in Wano Country, had now become a ruined graveyard.
After Araki and the others climbed the cliff waterfall and officially entered Wano Country's inland sea, this place became their first stop.
