Background / History

Xiao Xuan was the Xiao Clan patriarch and one of the cultivators closest to becoming a Dou Di in the last two thousand years. He subdued multiple Heavenly Flames and was feared even by the Hun Clan. During a failed attempt to break through to Dou Di, he was injured and subsequently ambushed by Hun Tiandi and Hun Clan experts, causing the Xiao Clan's decline. Before falling, he entrusted the clan's future to Gu Yuan and preserved a sliver of his soul by entering the Heavenly Tomb. 1

The current Xiao Xuan is a transmigrator who arrived in the Dou Qi Continent three years before the story and merged with Xiao Xuan's remaining soul. He devours energy entities within the Heavenly Tomb to repair himself, intending to restore his body, destroy the Hun Clan, and reach the Dou Di realm. 1

After refining the Soul of the Heavenly Tomb, he leaves the tomb with a restored Di Realm soul and control over its space. He discovers the Xiao Clan's collapse into a minor family and confronts the Ancient Clan over its failure to protect the clan as promised. 2 4
