"So huge."

Standing amid a blackish-brown "ocean,"

the younger sister looked at the ochre planet before her and could find no description for it besides "big."

The planet's colossal body nearly filled their entire field of vision. Pale orange and milky-white clouds intertwined, stretched into parallel bands by its rapid rotation; nor were those clouds still. Boiling vortices could be seen churning between the stripes—a masterpiece painted with cosmic pigments by the hand of a true god.

The planet's edge gleamed with a faint blue halo due to atmospheric refraction, reminding the two observers that there was no solid surface here—only an ocean of liquid metallic hydrogen stretching thousands of kilometers downward.

And most awe-inspiring of all was, naturally, the famed "Great Red Spot":

This gigantic storm, which had existed for at least four hundred years, was embedded in the planet's clouds like an eye of lava.

At this distance, they could see that it was not purely red. Salmon-pink and rust-colored turbulence surrounded its dark-red vortex; the storm wall stood tens of thousands of meters high! Lightning continued to flash within it more than a dozen times per minute.

Like a planet's eye filled with lightning, it glared at these two "tiny" humans.

Yu deeply agreed with his sister's sentiment and nodded.

"Of course it's big. After all, this is—"

A behemoth 1,316 times the size of the planet they were standing on. No, now it was only 263 times its volume!

The largest planet in the solar system: Jupiter.

The enormous ochre planet before them had an equatorial radius of 143,000 kilometers; even traveling at the speed of light would take nearly half a second to cross it.

If the planet they were on were placed beside Jupiter, it would be a glass marble next to a basketball!
