I rushed the writing again. For now, the main plot should focus on giving birth to Little River Crab. There's no need to introduce the worldbuilding yet, and it's not time for Night Emperor Academy to appear.
I know you might not have noticed, but as the author, I could feel it when I reread the story.
If something feels off, I'll fix it and get the plot back on track.
If I want to write a long story, I have to control the pacing. I let things move too fast, so I often can't hit the brakes.
A story that could have lasted two million words might end up with only one million—or even five hundred thousand—worth of plot. My previous book had enough material for another author to write four million words, but I only wrote 1.7 million because I couldn't slow the pacing down.
I'm planning to write more for this book, so I need to start learning to control the pacing now. I hope you'll understand.
I'm sorry for the trouble this has caused while reading. I'll do my best to make sure this is the last time.
