First off, the midnight update has already been posted.
There was a snag with the contract for Founder that held things up for two weeks, so the book still hasn't received any decent promotion. Basically, it's getting much the same treatment as a newcomer's book.
No promotion means no exposure, and no exposure means no one sees it, which naturally affects a new book's performance. It's a perfectly normal cycle.
So, since it's Monday, I'm asking for recommendation votes to try to climb the New Books by Contracted Authors chart. If we can make the top six, the book will appear on the app's free page, where more readers can see it.
The new-book period lasts one month. This is the book's fourth week this month, and its last full week. If it doesn't make it up there this week, there won't be another chance. Of course, the new-book chart is overrun with people inflating their numbers right now, so it wouldn't be surprising if we didn't make it. Still, you have to have dreams, and every extra moment in the spotlight counts. I don't want to pay my way up, so I can only ask for your help.
The formula for the new-book chart is bookmarks × 2 + weekly recommendation votes × 5 + weekly member clicks × 5. The higher the total, the higher the ranking. But bookmarks and clicks aren't really things I can ask you for, so all I can do is ask for your free recommendation votes.
