The restaurant's cheerful, melodious music abruptly stopped.

Lin Li lowered his head and looked at the fingers gripping the branch. The flesh and skin there twitched faintly, as though they possessed an independent will of their own.

This should not have happened to him.

Independent will arose from the separation of space and time, and that separation essentially existed because there was an upper limit to the speed of information transmission.

Starting from fourth-order lifeforms, this limit could be broken. Distance across space and time was no longer an issue; even a massive body separated by trillions upon trillions of light-years could be connected into an inseparable whole, let alone a Continuum lifeform like him, one that stood above the very concept of spacetime.

This Restaurant at the End of the Universe, along with the entire Rotating Gödel Universe outside, were all parts of his body.

Lin Li did not care about this slight mutation in his body. He merely said with a standard smile,

"I had thought that, just as when you dealt with Jiang Hongqiu, you would engage in some philosophical discussion with me before Devouring me."

A sneer echoed through the empty restaurant.

"A mere tool like you should not refer to yourself with the word 'I.'"

Lin Li did not refute this. Nor would such a thought arise within him.

He merely turned his head and looked at a glass of water sitting on the bar counter.

The glass was filled with pure, transparent, colorless water. It slowly rotated in the direction opposite to the Gödel Universe outside, and within the vortex at its center was a faint reflection of all things in the universe, as though another rotating universe corresponding to the outside one lay within.

"This glass of water is the Absolute Panoramic Vortex."
