By evening, the Pyrenees were shrouded in thick clouds. Thanks to the mist magic personally arranged by Nicolas Flamel at the entrance, there were not many people around.

Yet today, Beauxbatons welcomed a guest from afar.

Kyle carefully passed through the mist and appeared near the magical fountain.

He looked up at the sprawling mountaintop estate before him, studying it closely.

"They all look exactly the same. Which one was Professor Viktor's office again?"

Beauxbatons was unlike Hogwarts. There were more rooms here, and because alchemy was so prevalent, the structure of its classrooms had been altered to varying degrees.

For instance, in Hogwarts's underground classrooms, it was genuinely pitch-black outside the windows, and they could only rely on lamps for illumination. But Beauxbatons was different. A window in an underground classroom might have another opening on the second floor, allowing it to switch freely between dimness and brightness.

And these were not magical windows like those at the Ministry of Magic. The windows were genuinely opened onto the second floor. The process was simple enough: just use alchemy to modify the walls a little and create a magical passage between the two windows to transport sunlight.

Of course, it only sounded simple. Kyle could not do it anyway... though it probably was not difficult for Nicolas Flamel or Viktor.

So what he was seeing now might not actually be where the classroom was located.

"I should've noted the location when I came last time." Kyle searched around once more, then shook his head. "Forget it. Good thing I prepared a backup plan."

Kyle waited a little longer before an owl flapped in from outside. The surrounding mist magic seemed to have no effect on it whatsoever.
