"Hey, Kyle, where's Alastor Moody?" Hagrid walked over carrying two bottles. He first glanced into Kyle's cabin, then looked around the empty clearing.

"I don't know where he is either." Kyle shook his head. "But he said earlier that he wanted to go home."

"Go home... yeah, that's right. A lot of people wanted to go home after the war ended." Hagrid's voice grew much lower.

"Grawp's the same. I saw him sitting there staring into space all morning, but he can't go back. Mum wouldn't welcome him... of course, she wouldn't welcome me either."

"Alastor Moody ought to go back... though I'd wanted to have a drink with him, celebrate him coming back from the dead... but he ought to go home."

Hagrid kept muttering to himself, and the two bottles he had brought did not go to waste either... Once he was sure Kyle did not want any, he poured them both down his own throat.

"Hagrid, you..." Kyle looked at him, wanting to say something but stopping himself.

"Enough about that." He casually stuffed the two empty bottles into his coat pockets. "So Alastor Moody really is alive. I'm not dreaming, am I?"

"He was never dead to begin with," Kyle said. "But he has other missions afterward, so you mustn't... tell anyone."

"I understand. It's a secret, right? Don't worry." Hagrid patted his chest.

Then he seemed to think of something and suddenly stood still.

Alastor Moody wasn't dead... could Professor Dumbledore also... Oh, what am I thinking? That's impossible. Nobody found Alastor Moody, but Dumbledore really was dead.
