After seeing off the last batch of visitors for the day, Sylvia let out a silent breath.
She returned to the museum, walking across the crimson carpet and gazing at the lavish decorations and exquisite artworks all around her, disbelief still lingering on her face.
Though the young master had long said he would have her help manage one of his properties, she had never imagined it would be the Sothos Museum! Green Forest City's cultural calling card!
By the time she reached the office, a lawyer was already waiting inside—Bartolo.
"First of all, congratulations on becoming the museum director, Ms. Sylvia!"
Bartolo had Sylvia sign the last document, an undisguised smile spreading across his face. "Of course... although all the procedures have been completed, City Hall still has a few requirements... First, the nature of this land cannot be changed. It cannot be commercially or industrially developed, nor can renovations be carried out that would damage the castle's main structure... Second, they hope you will keep the museum open. After all, the city's primary and secondary schools organize visits here every year. Naturally, raising the ticket price is entirely up to you!"
Though some collectors' private museums appeared to be open to the public, in truth they only opened one day a week—or, even more outrageously, only a few days a year! Such things were entirely possible!
And if Sylvia did that, public opinion throughout Green Forest City would probably explode!
"Of course... I deeply understand the place it holds in Green Foresters' hearts. The museum will remain open as usual, and ticket prices will not be raised. All revenue will only be used for the museum's daily upkeep and the staff's wages!"
Sylvia took a deep breath and said.
"A wise decision."
Bartolo's smile grew even brighter.
