Outside the servants' quarters.
Old John was nervously setting up a "spiritual barrier."
Inside the room, Aaron swiftly pulled out a paintbrush and an oil canvas and began to paint.
His brush flew across the canvas, completing an outline in moments.
As he worked, he explained to Linda and Leon, "I happen to know a little about Kent... His mental breakdown was caused by a setback in love... To save him, we have to counter it with another intense emotion, or simply alter his cognition!"
"I've heard a little about your methods of balancing contamination."
With her arms folded, Linda watched from the side. "How are you planning to balance his contamination?"
"Simple... Use another kind of love to dilute the original one."
A sketch had already taken shape beneath Aaron's brush—two men outlined in golden lines, leaning against each other.
With just one glance, Linda felt her heart race and her cheeks flush, struck by the beauty of men.
"This..."
She suddenly understood something. The way she looked at Aaron became wary and terrified.
"Since the shock came from liking women, I'll try shifting his cognition and make him like men instead..."
"When the two emotions clash, the stimulus of love will weaken. Of course, there'll definitely be aftereffects. Perhaps after he regains his senses, he won't like either women or men."
Having finished the sketch, Aaron prepared to ignite the oil painting.
"Wait..." Leon sensed something wrong and hurriedly asked, "Won't he turn bisexual or something?"
"That... is also quite possible, but it's still better than this!"
Aaron pointed at the monster on the floor, bound and twisted by shadows yet still struggling, and snapped his fingers.
The oil painting suddenly burst into flames. Something indescribable was extracted by Aaron and came into his hand.
"Knowledge is power!"
