Spirit Herb Island.
Aaron stood beside the spring's source, his hands rapidly forming seals as he murmured, "Spring Wind Turns to Rain... go!"
As his mana surged, layers of white mist emerged from his hands, gathering above the spirit spring before falling as a fine, drizzling rain.
Yet the rain covered only a very narrow area, merely one or two meters across...
"After months of bitter cultivation, I've finally mastered this spell... But when it was cast over the spirit fields in East Gate Valley, it could cover an entire mu. Here, it only reaches one or two meters..."
Aaron could not help but feel utterly speechless.
But as he looked at the few Nine-Eyed Begonias beneath the rain, now appearing even more vibrant with life, he immediately felt it had been more than worth the cost.
He then glanced at his status panel:
[Spring Wind Turns to Rain (10/100)]
"At its core, Spring Wind Turns to Rain consumes the spiritual energy I absorb while circulating my cultivation art, transforming it into spirit rain to nourish the soil and vegetation... If I use it too often, it will surely delay my own cultivation."
"But for me, slower cultivation is no great loss. Being able to save spirit stones is truly wonderful... Even if I transplant spirit herbs in the future, I won't need to spend spirit stones to enrich the soil."
Aaron carefully inspected this patch of ground. Nourished by the spirit rain, it seemed to be gradually changing as well.
For a moment, he seemed to feel a farmer's joy.
Plow in spring, sow in summer, harvest in autumn, store in winter...
The land would never betray those who worked it diligently; it would surely repay them...
Is this what farming feels like?
