Now then, Zhang Fei's voice boomed like rolling thunder: "Hey, you there! Don't run!" When he first opened his mouth, Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei were still halfway up the distant mountainside. By the time the shout ended, three clouds of three different colors had drifted to within roughly ten paces of Lü Bu.

Lü Bu found them unbearably irritating. His tiger eyes and lion gaze narrowed into slits.
He had thought he could return just like that, only for three more men to suddenly emerge. Moreover, with Lü Bu's experience and perception, he could clearly tell that these three were anything but ordinary. The black-clad man to the left was like a savage leopard emerging from the forest, while the green-clad man to the right resembled an azure dragon drilling out of the sea. Waves of imposing aura swept toward him. Though the man in the middle was weaker than the other two, his presence was instead even more forceful. The three of them together left even Lü Bu unable to find an opening.
In this desolate wilderness, at such a time, these three extraordinary men had suddenly appeared. Naturally, Lü Bu did not believe they had come here for a leisurely spring outing. Their purpose was therefore obvious: Emperor Xian in his arms!
As Lü Bu watched Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei, they were likewise watching him—as well as Emperor Xian, who was clearly dressed as an emperor, in his arms.
Neither joy nor sorrow stirred in Guan Yu and Zhang Fei's hearts. With a formidable enemy like Lü Bu before them, if he caught a flaw in their state of mind and attacked, they would be in grave danger. But as Liu Bei looked at Emperor Xian in
