Its existence was like the Embroidered Uniform Guard of the Ming Dynasty or the Blood Droplet Agents of the Qing Dynasty—a military force forged through iron, blood, and fire. Unlike the black-armored "Heavenly Soldiers and Generals," who had been weakened by mortal-world rules and were all show with no substance, the soldiers of the Five Divine Army were all recruited from among ordinary mortals. Those selected through layer after layer of screening were brought to the Jade Temple and personally trained by the Jade Warlord. Only those who survived in the end could join the Five Divine Army.
In Middle-earth's mortal realm, the Five Divine Army were demons, butchers, inhuman killing puppets. Countless legends surrounded them.
