Inside the prison at the center of Water Seven, where Shanks and Buggy were being held.
Tsugikuni Yoriichi walked outside with his sword and stared at the boundless, terrifying fissure in the ground, his pupils shrinking. Looking out toward the distant sea, he happened to see the ocean divided into two sections by an invisible force.
Before long, the seawater flowed back, rapidly filling the "scar" across the sea. At the harbor, a Marine warship was docked at the end of this "sword mark." It had already been completely severed in two and was slowly sinking into the sea.
The Marines aboard leaped from the ship to escape, while the Marines patrolling nearby warships noticed something was wrong and lowered lifeboats to join the rescue.
"A slash from out at sea... its power is terrifying!"
Tsugikuni Yoriichi stared silently at the scene on the sea and at the harbor for a long while. He lowered his head to glance at the fissure beside him, then seemed to realize something and quickly went around to the back of the stone house, looking toward the forest behind it.
A bottomless, terrifying fissure had not only stretched from the sea to the stone house at the center of Water Seven. After cutting through the stone house, it continued into the distance, extending beyond the limits of sight.
The entire Water Seven had been pierced through by that terrifying fissure.
That slash had crossed the sea and cut Water Seven directly into two halves.
Just as Tsugikuni Yoriichi was examining the destructive power of that "slash," a sharp, piercing alarm rang out across Water Seven.
The Marines at the harbor became busy upon hearing the alarm. Within seconds, several warships swiftly set sail.
