Pirate King Roger's laughter echoed in the ears of Tsugikuni Yoriichi and the others.
Hearing Roger suddenly reveal his purpose, both Issho and Mihawk showed stunned expressions. Tsugikuni Yoriichi, standing before Roger, merely glanced at him upon hearing the news, then expressionlessly sheathed his long blade.
"Eh?"
"Kid, aren't you surprised at all?!"
"It wouldn't hurt to look a little surprised!"
Roger had evidently mastered the secrets of Life Return as well, able to freely control every muscle in his body. The wound beneath his arm was no longer bleeding much. Seeing Yoriichi's utterly calm face, Roger instead let out a surprised murmur.
In truth, ever since he had learned through Koshiro's Den Den Mushi that Roger had appeared in Dressrosa to wait for him, Tsugikuni Yoriichi had already been speculating about Roger's intentions.

It was Roger's first time experiencing such an urgent desire for someone else to pry into his secrets. Back when he was on the ship, whenever he teased Shanks and Buggy, those two boys would always foolishly ask exactly what he expected them to ask.

"He really doesn't seem like a teenage kid at all! Isn't he curious about anything?"
