After confronting Dugu Bo over Dugu Yan’s poison, Lu Yi was taken to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Eye and swallowed two rare herbs to survive Dugu Bo’s challenge.

• Lu Yi awakened a Magikarp Martial Soul, tested at Innate Soul Power Level Two, and traveled with Wang Shu to Nuoding Academy, where he defeated Xiong Kui and became the Seventh Dormitory’s Boss.
• Lu Yi improved his cultivation with Thousand-Year Whale Rubber, befriended Yu Xiaogang through experiments on Luo Sanpao, and reached Soul Power Level 10.
• Lu Yi and Yu Xiaogang joined Flender in the Star Dou Great Forest, where Lu Yi absorbed a Mysterious Cang Armor Carp’s Soul Ring and gained Oath of Cang Lan, Water Cannon, and Waterfall.
• Lu Yi returned to Nuoding Academy, met Tang San and Xiao Wu, and helped Yu Xiaogang investigate Martial Soul evolution while teaching Tang San Self-Created Soul Skills.
• Lu Yi left Nuoding Academy with Flender and Wang Shu to hunt Soul Rings, and Wang Shu absorbed the Golden Armored Flame Dragon’s Soul Ring.
• At a lake, Magikarp defeated the Ink-Pattern Ring-Tailed Snake Dugu Bo had chosen for Dugu Yan, and Dugu Bo threatened Lu Yi after he endured the poison mist.
• Lu Yi warned Dugu Bo that he and Dugu Yan were poisoned, claimed he could help them at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Eye, and persuaded Dugu Bo to take him there.
• Dugu Bo poisoned Lu Yi and gave him two hours to find a cure, so Lu Yi swallowed the Infernal Delicate Apricot and Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass before plunging into the spring.
