Chen Xi opened the glass door to the balcony, and Lin Yue, who had been waiting impatiently, immediately darted out.
"What were you two talking about?" The golden retriever crowded up to her, eyeing her suspiciously.
Chen Xi replied coolly, "We were talking about how you're an idiot who couldn't even think of such a simple solution."
As she spoke, Zhu Li smiled at the two of them from the living room.
"If you won't tell me, then forget it, you stingy brat..." Lin Yue brushed past her and went back to the bedroom to grab the packed backpack.
After checking that they had everything, the three of them immediately headed downstairs.
Lin Yue walked in front, sunglasses perched on her forehead and bags in both hands. She didn't look like she was fleeing disaster at all.
She looked back at the two calm women and asked, "By the way, what car are we taking? Should we rent one now?"
Zhu Li didn't answer. She took a car key out of her pocket.
A low rumble echoed through the parking garage.
Lin Yue looked toward the sound and saw a sleek, jet-black sports car parked beneath their apartment building.
She blurted out, "A supercar?!"
Chen Xi raised an eyebrow. "You know car models?"
Because she had traveled to another world, Chen Xi wasn't familiar with its brands.
Lin Yue scratched her head and answered as if it were obvious. "Huh? Don't people just call cars like this supercars?"
Neither of them said anything. They just shook their heads at her.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Chen Xi beckoned to Lin Yue, who was still standing there in a daze. "Get in. What are you standing there for?"
"But aren't we on the run? Isn't this a little too conspicuous?"
Compared to hers, Lin Yue's bags were nothing.
"That won't happen for another day or two. For now, let's just pretend we're going on vacation." Chen Xi looked relaxed.
At that, Lin Yue got in without hesitation. The engine roared, and the three of them sped away from Chen Xi's home.

Chen Xi opened Zhu Li's forum account. "Linxi City is just ahead."

Chen Xi continued, "Linxi City covers an area of 78,200 square kilometers. There are only two Evil Flower High Priests in the city right now. As long as we're careful, we shouldn't run into them."
"It's already eight. Let's stay outside for the night and see if any of Evil Flower's other members can track Lin Yue."

Zhu Li was as energetic as ever.

She picked up a plastic bag filled with all sorts of vegetables. Water droplets clung to the bag.
Clearly, Lin Yue had put them in right after washing them.
"Lin Yue?" Chen Xi was so exasperated she started laughing.
Lin Yue glanced over and said matter-of-factly, "Then you can make the vegetable salad. Zhu Li and I will grill meat."
The two of them set up the grill nearby, and Zhu Li had even started making a fire the old-fashioned way.
Chen Xi finally understood what all those bags had been packed with.
"Fine... This is pretty nice, too."
She put the vegetables in a bowl, searched for a salad recipe, picked the video with the most likes, and followed its instructions.
They had barely settled down when Lin Yue called out again from the tent.
"Chen Xi, do you think there are wild deer in the bushes?" The girl's voice held a hint of surprise.
Chen Xi had no choice but to stop what she was doing and walk around to the other side of the tent.
"What do you think this is, Pokémon? You don't get into random encounters in bushes."
"Then what's this?" Lin Yue sounded cheerful. With the tent in the way, Chen Xi had to go around it.
Zhu Li, who had noticed the commotion, stopped grilling the meat as well.
The two of them looked over together. A tiny, snow-white deer, glowing faintly, lay in Lin Yue's arms and affectionately licked her palm.
"That tickles. Stop licking me." Lin Yue laughed as she gently stroked the little deer.
Chen Xi couldn't help exclaiming at the sight. "What?!"
Even Zhu Li, standing nearby, froze.
They'd really run into a Legend?
Seeing that Chen Xi didn't recognize it, Zhu Li explained through the flames:
