"I was thinking about you." Though Chen Xi said those words, her emotions remained utterly calm.
Lin Yue heard her and pouted. "Why think about me? I'm sleeping right inside the cabin."
"What are you drinking?"
Her sharp eyes spotted the beer in the girl's hand, and she snatched it away in a single stride.
"You spilled it." Chen Xi looked at the yellow beer that had sloshed out, her expression helpless.
Lin Yue replied as if it were obvious, "I can't drink that much anyway. So what if I spilled some?"
After speaking, she raised the beer and gulped it down.
She accidentally choked on it.
"Cough, cough, cough—" The girl doubled over, almost choking herself to tears.
"Why would anyone drink something so bitter?"
She frowned deeply and handed the beer back to Chen Xi.
"Thanks, but I don't want it." Chen Xi casually tossed the can into the sea.
Seeing this, Lin Yue pretended to be annoyed. "Do you really have to be so disgusted by my spit? And you threw your trash into the sea, too. You have no manners."
Chen Xi turned her back and rested both hands on the railing. "That's right. I have no manners. Now you know."

She hurried over to the black-haired girl and copied her, resting her hands on the railing.
The moon was obscured by thick clouds. The two of them silently let the sea breeze wash over them.
"Why did you come up to find me after you'd already gone to bed?" Chen Xi asked casually.
