Lin Yue? When did she get here?
Before Chen Xi had time to feel happy, she sensed that something was off.
Lin Yue wasn't even on her team. How had she dragged Wu Xin into this out of nowhere?
"I knew you really could read minds!" Chen Xi raised her eyebrows, then clasped her hands together and begged for mercy. "Could you stop using it on me? Please?"
Lin Yue didn't answer. She merely glanced at Chen Xi as if she were an idiot.
She silently raised her right hand, and a faint red glow emanated from her palm.
At the same time, Chen Xi felt a sudden burning sensation on her neck.
She hurriedly summoned layers of water mirrors, reflecting the view behind her in front of her. A crimson bite mark had appeared out of nowhere on her snow-white neck.
"When did you give me a hickey? How come I didn't know?"
Chen Xi rubbed at the crimson bite mark, trying to wipe it away. No matter how hard she scrubbed, though, it showed no sign of fading.
The black-haired girl could only press her lips together and stare at Lin Yue, who had been silent from the start and watching her like she was some kind of show.
"...If you don't tell me, I'm going to cry." Her gaze was forlorn.
Lin Yue crossed her arms and smiled faintly. "Go ahead, then."
"I don't get to see you cry very often. Make it a good one, and maybe I'll feel sorry for you." Lin Yue blinked at her.
