"What exactly is your relationship with Crimson?"
Chen Xi's sinister expression made Lin Yue, who had been acting so assertively, feel a sudden pang of unease.
Crimson was the friend Lin Yue had met at Qianlang Mountain in one of the previous cycles, when the two of them had been separated.
She had assumed Crimson had been chosen for the God-Chosen Trial, just like Qiu Ye. As it turned out, the truth was precisely the opposite of what Lin Yue had guessed.

"Too late. You think I'm joking?" Chen Xi gripped her chin with one hand and rubbed it roughly.
"I'm serious."
After a moment of silence, she spoke again. "Have you held her hand?"
"That kind of question?" Lin Yue's expression stiffened.
"What's wrong? Is it too much?" Chen Xi tightened her grip.
"Your question just now was even stranger. Why can't I ask you something in return?"
Chen Xi sneered without mercy. "In that case, it seems Lin Yue really is a selfish person."
"It's not that you can't.
