"Lin Yue?" Chen Xi called tentatively. The blonde girl's eyes flew open as if she'd been shocked, and she staggered upright.
"What is it? Go on, I'm listening." Lin Yue rubbed the corners of her eyes, still half asleep.
Seeing her struggling to stay awake, Chen Xi raised a hand to stop her. "Listening to what? Go back to sleep."
Lin Yue shook her head, fighting to keep her heavy eyelids open. "Forget it. I'll listen to the whole thing before I sleep. You've already worked out the plan, after all. If we wait until tomorrow, I'll lose track of everything."
"Mm." Since Lin Yue didn't mind, Chen Xi continued with the plan she'd left unfinished.
"My Rain Lord's Legend Degree is still at 0%, so I can team up with the Black Moon Empire without having to waste more energy hunting Legends. We can share information and get them to offer us some assistance."
Given the Black Moon Empire's power, raising a fifth-rank Legend's Legend Degree to its maximum would certainly sting a little. But for a fourth-rank Legend, it would be a trivial matter.
With the Black Moon Empire's help, they could skip the tedious process of raising her Legend Degree.
"So the next question is what to do about my Ascension Ritual once my Legend Degree is maxed out."
Listening to her methodical analysis, Lin Yue's dizziness began to ease. "Have you decided where you're going?"
"I was originally planning to go to the Desert Molding Federation." Chen Xi toyed with the tea in her cup, using her ability to sculpt its red liquid into an exquisite dragon's head.
"But since the Black Moon Pope said he knows where and when the Lamenter will descend, we'll have to change those arrangements based on what he tells us."
