As Lin Yue spoke, she formed a small, exquisite teddy bear made of shadows in her hand.
"Here." Lin Yue stuffed the doll into Zhu Li's arms.
"What is this?" Zhu Li looked confused, but she obediently accepted the teddy bear anyway.
"It's for you. Once we dive in, the teddy bear will stay here and keep you company. Remember not to wander around."
As Lin Yue explained, she controlled the teddy bear and had it give Zhu Li a hug.
Though it had been mimicked from shadows, Lin Yue's skill was so superb that even with its jelly-like texture, the teddy bear looked utterly adorable.
Gently embraced by the teddy bear, Zhu Li's face lit up with delight. "Thank you."
"Done. Let's go." Lin Yue snapped her fingers crisply, pulling the two stunned girls back to reality.
"You should've used that trick sooner."
Before leaving, Chen Xi glanced back at Zhu Li, who was quietly playing with the shadow doll.
Thanks to the abilities Lin Yue had bestowed upon it, the teddy bear could make more human-like movements.
"That's because the setting is different." Lin Yue answered as if it were obvious. "My shadow doll can also restrain Zhu Li's flames from spilling out, but it can't completely suppress her like Gu Yu can."
"Out on the Sea of Slumber, the seawater can clean up the aftermath, so it's fine. But I wouldn't dare use this trick in the mountains. Otherwise, we might not even realize the whole mountain was on fire until it was too late."
