Chen Xi and Lin Yue ate at a hot pot restaurant, where Qiu Ye's squad tested Chen Xi but decided not to interfere. After walking Lin Yue to the bus, Chen Xi swallowed Rain Lord's pupil and returned home, where she found Zhu Li waiting outside her door.

• Luo Li approached Chen Xi and Lin Yue at Qiu Ye's direction, but her ability found no hostility in them, so Qiu Ye apologized and stopped investigating.
• Lin Yue asked Chen Xi why she was so kind to her, and Chen Xi reassured her before walking her to the bus stop.
• After Lin Yue boarded the bus, Chen Xi swallowed Rain Lord's pupil so Wu Xin could not take it.
• Chen Xi returned home and found Zhu Li crouching outside her security door, drawing circles with flames.
