"Yide, finish this cup with your elder brother, then set out at once. Remember to drink less on the march, or you could easily cause trouble." Liu Bei picked up a cup of wine and handed it over.
Zhang Fei took it and drained it in one gulp. Grinning, he slapped his chest. "Heh heh, Zhang Zhongjing may be gone, but the Sobering Pills he left behind are still here. If he'd come up with those things sooner, I wouldn't have lost Xu Province after drinking. Big Brother, Ziyu, I'm off."
"Take care on your journey." Liu Bei's voice trembled slightly.
Lan Tian was about to offer him a few words of blessing, but Zhang Fei turned and left without looking back, leaving the two of them with the sight of his dark silhouette.
This wasn't the first time Liu Bei and Zhang Fei had parted. Zhang Fei looked healthy, with no sign of illness, and though Cao Zhen was stationed in Liang Province, he might not be a match for Zhang Fei now. Lan Tian couldn't understand why Liu Bei had seemed so sorrowful just then. His eyes had especially darted away when Zhang Fei mentioned Zhang Zhongjing.
Though Lan Tian kept a straight face, he privately thought Liu Bei was acting very strangely.
