A tall figure in a flowing teal robe sat upright in the void.
It was Gao Wuwang of World Relief Valley.
At that moment, he was staring intently at a three-legged alchemy cauldron before him.
A fierce flame raged within the cauldron. As waves of fire surged, countless stars seemed to flicker in and out, while starlike grains of light flowed without end.
After a long while...
Gao Wuwang changed the hand seal he was making and gave a soft shout.
"Come!"
Whoosh!
The blazing flames, shimmering with starlike radiance, surged and curled upward, tossing the grains of light from within the fire like stars being flung from the cauldron.
The flames died out.
Fine pinpricks of light hovered silently before Gao Wuwang, flickering like the projection of a starry river.
Each fleck was so tiny that only by using his divine abilities to examine it closely could he make out its true shape.
The flecks of light were clearly tiny, perfectly round, translucent pale-blue pills, each flashing with brilliant radiance like a breath.
"Phew." Gao Wuwang let out a long breath.
He raised his right hand and drew one pill from the countless ones before him, which hung like a projection of a starry river. He brought it to a stop on the tip of his index finger.
After studying it carefully for a while, a faint smile finally appeared on his face.
"The Heart-Severing Pill... It's finally done."
He then returned the Heart-Severing Pill hovering at his fingertip and waved away the alchemy cauldron before him.
Only after finishing all that did he finally look ahead, toward the vast, boundless continent.
A pale golden ring encircled the entire continent, radiating an invisible force that compressed and fused the landmass together.
