Blue Bright Sacred City.
As the largest of the many factions on the Taiyi Continent and the one closest to the Kongji Ruins, it had called itself the heir to Kongji Sacred City ever since its founding.
In the few short years after that Holy War ended, no fewer than several thousand factions had suddenly sprung up, each claiming to be an heir to Kongji Sacred City.
Some of those factions' founders had even "optimized" the ideals originally upheld by the Kongji Holy Lord.
After all, the Kongji Holy Lord had lost to the Dongming Holy Lord in that Holy War. That alone was enough to prove that the ideals she believed in were not "correct" enough. Ideas that were not "correct" enough ought to change with the times.
Of course, some continued to uphold the ideals the Kongji Holy Lord had once believed in, devoting themselves to building a world filled with "love," one free of oppression and conflict.
Over the past few years, their differing ideals had caused constant disputes among these so-called "heirs of Kongji Sacred City," with life-and-death battles breaking out every so often.
Yet the Dongming Holy Lord, who stood high above and looked down upon all living beings, made no move at all.
Ever since winning the Holy War back then, he had rarely appeared on the Taiyi Continent.
It was as though he simply did not care about those living beings calling themselves "heirs of Kongji Sacred City," and even took pleasure in seeing this happen.
Only when a faction truly began to stabilize and displayed the potential to unite the entire Taiyi Continent would he act to erase it.
No matter what ideals that faction's founder believed in!
After all, "chaos" had no need for unity...
Back to the matter at hand.
