I got a message from my editor: the book had met the requirements to go premium.
All things considered, the new-book period had lasted only a month. I was both nervous and humbled. I never expected this ugly duckling to meet its in-laws so soon.
I'd originally planned to go premium on October 1 and post more free chapters to attract more readers and improve the numbers.
But plans often couldn't keep up with changes. Once the stats fell below the requirements for going premium, it wouldn't be so easy to try again.
To show my sincerity, I'll post an extra twelve thousand words after going premium, equivalent to two chapters.
I'll do my best to write a good story. Sometimes, to move the plot along, I may have to compromise on the logic a little. It's unavoidable, so I hope my dear readers will bear with me.
Cloud Dragon County is only the first stop on Shen Mu's path to becoming a Martial God. He still has a long way to go.
As for updates, after going premium, I'll post at least six thousand words a day. When inspiration strikes, I should be able to reach ten thousand.
The motivation to update often depends on subscription numbers.
When the numbers are good, the author gets positive feedback and will naturally work like mad to update.
I wouldn't dare ask my dear readers for tips. If you subscribe to every chapter, I'll already be deeply grateful.
A seedling needs readers' hard-earned subscriptions to grow into a towering tree.
After the book goes premium, I hope you'll continue to support it.
