Unlike Sogyo no Kotowari, Katen Kyokotsu consisted of one long and one short blade, both before and after release.
In its unreleased state, it was composed of a tachi and a wakizashi. Both blades had rectangular guards with their corners cut off, decorated with flower petals.
After Shikai, they became one long and one short curved blade. Their bodies were pure black, their edges gleamed white, and red tassels hung from their ends, swaying gently.
Before today, Su Feng had never imagined that Katen Kyokotsu would come before him in this form.
But on second thought, this whole production had too many loopholes. Though grand in scale, its details could not withstand scrutiny.
Ordinary captains could not see through it because of the disparity in information.

Shunsui Kyoraku answered with silence. He lowered his twin blades, even shifting the straw hat from his head onto his back. His eagle-sharp eyes stared fixedly at Su Feng.
"What's your reason?"
"I can't let the Seireitei continue suffering through such turmoil just because of your casual words."
Su Feng frowned slightly and pondered. "Clinging to rules and abandoning a victory within reach is something only small fry would do."
"As a captain, you shouldn't concern yourself with such
