Afterword
I'd originally planned to write this tomorrow, but after thinking it over, I decided to add it now.
This book went premium in July, and as of November 19, it has reached a total of 1.08 million words across 350 chapters.
First, regarding updates: since this was my first time writing on Qidian, I was easily affected by the backend statistics. The ups and downs in follow-up subscriptions were truly tormenting.
For the first ten days after it went premium, I could still maintain ten thousand words a day. After that, things fell off. I wrote six thousand words a day for a month, but thankfully I recovered a little later on and started updating eight thousand words a day from October until the end.
