In a high-rise restaurant, Hong Fei sat on the left, gazing across the River Thames at the magnificent buildings on its north bank: Westminster Abbey.

And the abbey's adjoining clock tower—Big Ben.

It wasn't that he particularly wanted to admire some so-called world cultural heritage site. Number Four had booked their hotel directly across the river.

Samuel sat opposite Hong Fei. The strips of cloth wrapped around his head had been fashioned into a tall hat, while thick powder covered the green tint of his face. Even so, he had nearly been stopped at the entrance earlier.

He had been watching Hong Fei's eyes the entire time. Following his gaze toward the cathedral, Samuel frowned deeply. Suddenly, his eyelids twitched, and he abruptly turned to stare at Hong Fei.

Hong Fei withdrew his gaze and slightly raised his eyelids. "What is it?"

Samuel swallowed and leaned forward, whispering furtively, "You weren't thinking about something terrifying, were you?"

Hong Fei smiled faintly. "What are you talking about?"

Samuel straightened up and quickly shook his head.

Hong Fei looked at his strange appearance and shook his head. "In a few years, you'll be able to ditch all that disguise and walk the streets openly."

Naturally, Samuel did not believe him.

The endless drizzle pattered against the glass windows. In an instant, dark clouds filled the sky, while rumbling thunder and lightning intertwined among the layers of clouds.
