Thor dodged left and right as spacecraft pursued him. Though he kept summoning lightning to blast the ships out of the sky, Sakaar had an astonishing number of them.
He was racing toward the largest and most brightly colored Space Gate on Sakaar.
Though making a spatial jump with his physical body would subject him to tremendous tearing force and injury, Thor could not worry about that now.
"You look like you could use a little help." Loki's voice suddenly sounded beside Thor. Thor turned and saw his brother, instantly stunned. "Weren't you staying here?"
Loki rolled his eyes. "Did you expect me to announce in front of everyone that I'd already betrayed them?"
"So this is another scheme?"
"Yes. I'm shocked that you actually figured it out."
As they flew, Thor said, "All right, I know you're clever. Now tell me your plan!"
But under Thor's expectant gaze, Loki shook his head.
"No, Thor. I don't have a plan."
Thor's face immediately scrunched up as though to say: Are you kidding me?
Loki laughed happily. Then, as a golden-red light suddenly flashed through his eyes, he turned toward its source.
"He's here."
"Huh? What did you say?"
Loki stopped in midair, and Thor stopped with him.
The next instant, a divine dragon tore an enormous rift through intact space. Its colossal body leaped nimbly out, the energy pouring from its mouth so overwhelming that it annihilated every spacecraft pursuing the two of them.
