The five sat facing one another, two on the left and three on the right.

On the left, Hong Fei and Wanda were relatively relaxed, while the three on the right were somewhat nervous.

America, especially, as the central figure in the negotiation, had barely half her butt resting on the edge of her chair. Her fists on her lap clenched unconsciously, as though she might leap to her feet and run at any moment.

Wanda would occasionally glance at her, and each time, America immediately recalled the monsters Wanda had sent to kidnap her. The unease in her heart only grew heavier.

As the current Sorcerer Supreme, Wong cleared his throat and spoke first.

"Mr. Hong, Ms. Wanda, since this is a negotiation, which side should state its demands first?"

Wanda said nothing and looked at Hong Fei.

Receiving the signal, Hong Fei said, "I'm the elder, so you go first."

Strange frowned and was about to refuse, but Wong gave him no chance to show off. He grabbed Strange's arm and quickly said, "Fine, then we'll go first."

Strange sighed in disappointment. Facing Hong Fei's smiling gaze, he felt even more uncomfortable.

America looked at Strange's profile as well and inexplicably felt that he was somewhat unreliable.

Hong Fei, however, skipped over the inner thoughts and said directly, "Didn't you negotiate with Dormammu before? Why do you look so unprofessional now?"

"It's precisely because I negotiated with Dormammu that this situation feels so abnormal," Strange complained heavily.

Hong Fei grinned. "There's no helping it. Why don't you put yourself in Dormammu's place? A change of perspective will make this negotiation seem perfectly normal."
