Number 009: Splitter.
The success of Vampire Sequence 008's experiment also brought a breakthrough in the Biological Factory experiment. Number 009 was Chen Ye's crowning creation.
However, Chen Ye had marked several lines of red text in its file afterward.
Number 009 had once split off half a nuclear warhead, nearly leveling the entire South Bay Port.
Number 009 was highly individualistic. Please do not communicate with it, lest unnecessary misunderstandings arise.
PS: It couldn't understand human speech.
The rainy season had ended. The days were somewhat sweltering, while the nights were a little cold.
Within North Ridge City, Number 003, Wang Haonan, lay sprawled on the ground, covered in blood. Before him stood a white-haired man in a black overcoat.
The man had an exceptionally vicious-looking face, and an Ouroboros hung around his neck.
Take note, it was not an ornament, nor was it a craft item. It was a true Ouroboros from fantasy, just a little smaller.

"I am that lord's most outstanding creation. Unlike you, I am nearly perfect."
As he spoke, the man planted his foot directly on Wang Haonan's body.
Wang Haonan bit down on his lower lip. His body felt as though he had been hit by a Wuling Hongguang going fifty miles an hour; even the slightest movement felt like it would make him fall apart.
"...Sequence 001 has already gone back to find that lord. You're finished."
The man sneered. "Is that so? I'm finished? Then go ahead and look forward to it. See whether that lord will intervene."
"As it happens, I just deciphered the code that lord left for me."
"The fittest survive, the weak are eliminated, and the incompetent deserve to be erased. Honestly, you've all been living far too comfortably, because no one could stand as your opponent."
"Heh. Then I'll be your opponent. Try struggling to survive in my hands, or be eliminated just like this."
"This is precisely that lord's intention. You needn't be confused. That lord could not act personally, which was why he used a code to tell me."
"And only I can understand the code that lord left behind."
A code?
Seeing Wang Haonan's confusion, the man took out his phone and showed him a chat log.
Wang Haonan did not know what the two of them had said above. He only saw the many messages the man had sent below.
Was my guess correct, my lord?
Why have you stopped talking, my lord?
Chen Ye had replied with only one word: Die.
"Do you see? This is the code that lord left for me."
"That lord wants me to kill you all!"
Wang Haonan froze for a moment. "Could it be that lord was telling you to die?"
The man laughed. "Impossible. I am that lord's proudest creation, his crowning work. That lord only needs me, so this 'die' definitely referred to you."
Chen Ye: Stay calm. Don't panic.
This kid had never understood human speech.
The appearance of Sequence 008's Three Corpses and Number 009, the Splitter, had come almost back-to-back.
After successfully creating the Three Corpses, Chen Ye extracted the blood of Sequence 008 and Queen Bee Sequence 004 to create Number 009.
Number 009 was an existence that defied common sense. He had pushed monster combat power to a new level.
Put more simply, Number 009 was an Undead Creature.
Unlike Sequence 008, which had the weakness of fearing sunlight, Number 009 was an absolutely perfect creation with no weaknesses whatsoever.
And Number 009 possessed only one ability.

His body periodically split apart, but what emerged from those splits was entirely chaotic and unpredictable.
He might split out some creature from mythology or fantasy, or he might split out a blade of grass, a biscuit, or even a completely new person.
Under certain extremely special circumstances, the things split off by Number 009 would possess some unbelievable effects.
For example, the Ouroboros around Number 009's neck.
It was a fantasy creature with its own consciousness of life. It constantly gnawed on its own tail, tightening its body.
And because it was wrapped around Number 009's neck, once it had eaten enough of itself, it would strangle Number 009's neck apart.
But Number 009 himself possessed undead traits, so he would not die after the Ouroboros strangled his neck apart.
Number 009's head would fall off, then become a new split creation.
A new head would grow from his body.
After the new head grew out, the Ouroboros would spit its body back out and repeat its previous behavior.
In other words, the Ouroboros functioned more like Number 009's splitting timer.
So far, Number 009 had split out three items with special abilities.
The first was the Ouroboros that could continually tighten itself, and the second was a white worm that could burrow into Number 009's body.
While inside Number 009's body, this worm granted his physical functions extraordinary enhancement.
But the worm was constantly gnawing on its host's flesh and blood, yet it could never finish eating Number 009.
Lastly, there was a Black Arrow.
This arrow possessed two nearly terrifying properties.
First, once fired, it was an Absolute Hit.
Second, it was absolutely indestructible.
No matter how much force was used to fire the Black Arrow, as long as it did not hit its target, it would not stop.
If Number 009 wanted it to strike the sun, he only needed to toss it lightly. It would pierce through the atmosphere on its own, stab into the heart of the sun, and return completely intact.
These were the three split creations currently known to possess special abilities.
There were many other split creations, but none had any special abilities.
Chen Ye collected these things as materials in a warehouse in the South Bay Port district, where all manner of miscellaneous items were piled up.
It could be said that after obtaining Number 009, Chen Ye had gained a mobile material repository.
Everything had been wonderful, except this guy had grown a damn brain, along with a mouth that could spew endless nonsense.
He held an almost fanatical worship for Chen Ye and followed him around twenty-four hours a day.
Chen Ye found this unbearably irritating, so he simply locked Number 009 in the warehouse.
But Number 009 split out a phone himself and began frantically trying to establish communication with Chen Ye through emails.
Finally, one day, Chen Ye could not take it anymore.
He turned around, sent a single word—die—and directly blocked all of Number 009's messages.
As a result, Number 009 escaped that very night.
After receiving Raven's message, Wang Haonan followed Number 009, but the other man discovered him with ease.
And instantly pinned him to the ground!
That terrifying explosive power was incredibly deadly to Wang Haonan, whose physical abilities were only those of an ordinary person!
At that moment, Number 009 was twirling the Black Arrow in his hand. A worm crawled across his face, biting its way from his cheek to the center of his brow.
"Farewell, Number 003."
As the Splitter spoke, he directly turned the Black Arrow's tip downward.
But before he could throw the Black Arrow, an unexpected voice suddenly came from behind him.
"Hey, canned-food factory, wanna play?"
