Chapter Summaries

Roy fought Fake Ging in the underwater ruins while Netero, Biscuit, and Wing watched from the Hunter Association. After Roy devoured the false beings’ aura and opened the Second Gate, the system generated Uchiha Jin, Uchiha Itachi’s elder brother.

• Ging and Fake Razor exchanged Nen Bullets while Ging summoned a Phantom Wolf to assist him.
• Roy fought Fake Ging with his swords and Nen abilities, while Wing questioned whether he should continue focusing on Enhancement after seeing Roy’s versatility.
• Roy vaporized the sleeping Phantom Wolf with Zanka no Tachi and realized the apparent fighters and beasts were illusions created by a Conjurer.
• Netero and the others noticed Fake Ging shrinking and weakening as Roy devoured his aura.
• Fake Ging summoned Feicha’s Parrot to copy Roy’s swordsmanship, but the parrot flew to Roy’s Golden Crow, and Roy crushed it.

Roy created a Shadow Clone to keep fighting Fake Ging while his consciousness entered the Naruto world as Uchiha Jin. There, Itachi asked Jin to teach him swordsmanship, but Fugaku interrupted and summoned Jin to a clan meeting.

• Uchiha Fugaku brought Roy to the clan meeting and asked him to listen, while Uchiha Mikoto sent them off with a promise of hamburger steaks.
• Roy and Fugaku picked flowers for the Uchiha who had died, and Uchiha Shisui proudly told Roy he had killed five enemies using the swordsmanship Roy taught him.

• Uchiha Fugaku and the clan elders applied the Cursed Seal of Silence, selected candidates for Sharingan awakenings, and Roy helped Inabi, Tekka, Takuya, Ryosuke, and Yashiro develop their eyes.

• Roy told Sarutobi Hiruzen that he loved sunlight, then asked whether the Hokage’s vision of Konoha included the Uchiha.
• When Hiruzen hesitated, Roy declared that the Hokage’s flames could not shelter the Uchiha and walked to the Academy’s Fireball Jutsu test.
• Roy unleashed a massive Fireball Jutsu that destroyed wooden posts and part of the Academy wall, then vanished when his clone dispersed.

Renzi and Daniel Lauren discussed the dangers gathering around Roy and Kastro in 4th Street as Kastro continued training and helping at the church. When Uvogin and Nobunaga confronted Chrollo’s group, Kastro defeated them and revealed that Nen had protected him; the chapter ended with the exhausted Uvogin realizing he had lost to Nen.

• Renzi told Daniel Lauren that she had found no clear background for Roy but learned that Kastro had once fought in the Heavens Arena.
• Kastro heard a commotion at the porridge stall and found Uvogin and Nobunaga confronting the butlers and Chrollo’s group.
• Chrollo asked Kastro to teach Uvogin and Nobunaga a lesson, and Kastro stopped Nobunaga’s sword strike with a flaming hoe.
• Kastro repeatedly knocked Uvogin and Nobunaga down, using Nen to block Nobunaga’s blade from reaching his heart.

• Kastro dragged Uvogin and Nobunaga to the Prayer Hall, where Roy demonstrated his abilities and offered the children tea.
• Chrollo bowed to Roy and asked him to accept the whole group into the church to protect his friends.
• Roy used the Sharingan to trap Chrollo in an illusion of Uvogin’s severed head, then gained loyalty from him.

After reviewing information about Meteor City's powerful Council of Elders and their ties to major nations, Roy realized that bringing light to his mother's homeland would mean confronting the world's corrupt powers, but he still vowed to fight them.

• Silva told Roy how Maha's lesson taught him that individual strength could not stand against an organization or a country, then asked whether Roy was ready to follow the path of Faith.
• Roy said he would walk that path and hoped to kill God and take His place, so Silva challenged him to get past him within three years; Roy demanded they settle it in one year.
• Roy and Silva clashed with Ren, and Roy used a steam dragon to attack Silva, who struck through the illusion and exposed Roy's Sharingan deception.
• Silva agreed to a one-year contest and admitted he had wanted to beat Roy since Roy used Dream Parasite on him.

Roy rejected Guzman’s attempt to bring drugs into District 4 and set out with Kastro to kill the elder after learning what Guzman had done to his victims. As they approached Guzman’s territory, several groups began converging on them, and gunmen opened fire outside a mansion.

• Holl reported that Guzman was heading for Roy’s place, and Roy said he had already seen him through Vision Sharing with Taiyi.
• Guzman arrived at the Pale Church, where Roy exposed him as a puppet controlled by the elder’s Nen ability, Mental Morphine, and refused his drug business and invitation to the Council of Elders meeting.
• After seeing Guzman’s memories of Pakunoda’s friend being abused and killed, Roy drew Snow Walk and ordered Kastro to accompany him to kill Guzman.
