"It has been such a long time; it seems you have made a major breakthrough?" the Bearded Boss asked with a smile, looking at Bane, whom he hadn't seen in a century.

Bane smiled. "Thanks to you, I've had a small epiphany. I ask that you arrange a worthy opponent for me to spar with this time as well."

The Bearded Boss looked at him deeply. "A worthy opponent? You asked for it, so fight well. If you win, the reward will be very generous; even if you lose, there is still a reward." With that, he tossed a gold medal to Bane.

Bane felt the other man's smile was somewhat strange, but he still took the medal and headed toward the arena, silently lamenting to himself: It has been a long time since I've seen gold ornaments; this arena has quite a bit of taste.

As passing spectators saw the gold medal in Bane's hand, their gazes all turned exceptionally strange.

Until Bane stood in the center of the arena and saw the face of the person coming toward him, he suddenly realized what was happening, his expression stiffening.

"Young Miss!" Bane blurted out.

Standing opposite him was none other than Fukaloss.

She still looked exactly as she had two hundred years ago: blue court dress, white shoulder-length hair, only those golden pupils were now clouded with storm clouds.

"Go to hell!"

With a sharp shout, the blue divine artifact chain in Fukaloss's hand swept toward Bane like a wild python.

Bane immediately drew his Mist Hidden spear, flicked the tip to deflect the chain, and hurriedly shouted, "Young Miss, don't use lethal force! It's me, Bane!"

But Fukaloss didn't listen at all. The blue chain whipped around frantically like a long lash. She had clearly made a breakthrough as well; as the chain danced, countless sharp ice spikes erupted, shooting toward Bane in a dense swarm.

Bane dared not be careless. A Water Element Midgod Artifact Armor instantly appeared on his body, and he simultaneously raised a Water Element Shield, blocking all the incoming ice spikes.

"One hundred years! I knew you came to the King City Arena, so I snuck out to wait for you, and yet you just disappeared! One hundred years! I've almost finished my hundred-battle winning streak, and you—you only show up now!" Fukaloss's tone was full of indignation.

Bane shrank his neck and hurriedly retreated. "Young Miss, I had a breakthrough recently and just finished my seclusion. I didn't expect to keep you waiting for so long."

Just then, the arena boss's voice boomed throughout the venue: "Ladies and gentlemen, today is the final match for Miss Fukaloss's hundred-battle winning streak! Her opponent is Bane Boley, also a Lowgod! Now, let us witness this legendary moment!"

Bane glanced at the Bearded Boss in the stands, then back at the furious Fukaloss, his mouth twitching.

"Young Miss, is this your final match for the hundred-battle winning streak?"

"To wait for you, I stayed in this arena for a hundred years and fought ninety-nine matches in a row!" Fukaloss shook her arms, and another gray divine artifact chain appeared in her hands. "Today, I'll use you to sacrifice to my banner!"

Bane trembled all over and shouted without hesitation, "I surrender!"

The Bearded Boss's voice rang out right on cue: "According to the rules of the hundred-battle winning streak, neither party may voluntarily surrender in the final ten matches. It must end in life or death, or by the host determining one party is unable to continue fighting!"

Bane swallowed hard and looked at Fukaloss cautiously. "Young Miss, you wouldn't really kill me, would you?"

"Just obediently accept your death!"

Fukaloss's two divine artifact chains transformed into two venomous snakes, sweeping toward Bane with frantic intensity.

Bane swung his spear rapidly. The breakthroughs from his century of seclusion were now on full display. With continuous thrusts of his spear, he effortlessly blocked the multiple strikes from the two chains.

"Oh ho, you really did have a breakthrough!" Fukaloss had also comprehended the Round Soft Profound Mystery and saw at a glance the progress Bane had made in this mystery. "Perfect, let's see my new insight!"

As she spoke, the blue chain representing the Water Element stopped trying to entangle Bane and instead extended wildly, completely shrouding the entire dueling area. Pure Water Element divine power spread along the chains, weaving together to form strange runes—it was a magic array!

Fukaloss held the gray chain and flashed forward, her speed doubling compared to before, charging straight at Bane.

How is this so similar to that move of Joanna's? It's also a domain-type... Bane thought while complaining, flying rapidly toward the edge of the array. He didn't want to fight on her home turf.

What he didn't know was that Joanna had created her Curtain Domain after observing the Ice Prison King battle the previous City Lord; and this move of Fukaloss's had been taught to her personally by the Ice Prison King.

Just as Bane was about to rush out of the chain array, the chains seemed to come alive. They shifted violently, and a chain as thick as a thumb blocked his path, instantly erupting with terrifying impact force that sent Bane rebounding back.

"How does it have impact force?"

While Bane was stunned, Fukaloss had already arrived before him.

He raised his spear to meet her. The gray chain and the Mist Hidden spear turned into a sky full of phantoms, erupting with a continuous series of clashing sounds in mid-air. For a moment, the two were evenly matched.

But as the surrounding blue chains shifted again, Bane suddenly felt a bone-chilling cold seep into his body, slowing his movements by thirty percent. Fukaloss, however, was unaffected and actually grew faster, causing the situation to instantly turn one-sided.

Clearly, this Ice Prison Cage composed of blue chains could both suppress the enemy and amplify herself.

Seeing this, Bane clashed his spear against hers once more, using the recoil to rush toward the edge of the array.

Fukaloss manipulated the shape of the chain array while sneering, "This Ice Prison Cage is something I cast by fusing the Ice Profound Mystery, the Water Element, and the Round Soft Profound Mystery. You cannot escape!"

But just as she waited to see Bane suffer, she saw golden Fate Divine Power erupt from his body, shrouding the chains that blocked his way. The chains instantly lost their precision and became stiff and chaotic, allowing Bane to charge out of the domain with ease.

"Young Miss, your comprehension of the mysteries is still lacking a bit of heat!"

Fukaloss's golden pupils constricted, and she stared at Bane in astonishment.

This Ice Prison Cage was taught by the Ice Prison King; the complete version didn't need to change its form to exert its full effect. It was only because she hadn't fully fused the three mysteries that Bane had found a flaw. Plus, Bane's Fate Law was too rare in Gobada, which had caused her to be careless for a moment.

Fukaloss narrowed her eyes and spoke slowly, "Since you were my final match for the hundred-win streak, I thought the boss was going easy on me. I didn't expect that in just three hundred years, you would grow from a Sanctuary to this point. You truly are a genius. Now, let me show you my full strength!"

As she finished speaking, all the chains around Fukaloss retracted, wrapping around her layer by layer like vines. From a distance, she looked like a mummy made of chains.

Bane dared not be arrogant and immediately assumed a defensive stance.

Fukaloss, wrapped in chains, charged straight at him, the chains around her body acting like living armor to protect her entire frame.
