An Accident

"What a pair of pale, beautiful legs!" Xiao Yu's gaze flicked over Yun Yun's retreating figure before he quickly looked away. Peeping was hardly the act of a gentleman. As he thought this, Xiao Yu wiped away a nonexistent trace of drool from the corner of his mouth. Yet those long legs he had just seen still flashed uncontrollably through his mind. He quickly shook his head, casting out those wicked thoughts.

Beneath the waterfall, Yun Yun, who was ready to enter the water, glanced toward the cave and then swept her gaze over the surroundings. With the Soul Power of a Dou Huang, even though her strength had been sealed, her soul perception remained usable. After confirming that there was no danger, she stepped into the lake.

After quite some time, Yun Yun finally rose from the lake. Once she had dressed, she was about to return when she reconsidered. She might as well pick some fruit to bring back, so she headed toward the nearby forest.

"What kind of fruit is this?" Yun Yun looked at a small emerald-green tree bearing two apple-like fruits in confusion. Though she did not recognize them, they looked rather similar to the fruit Xiao Yu had picked before, so she reached out and plucked them. After gathering some more fruit in the woods, she returned to the cave.

Xiao Yu sat cross-legged on the stone bed, cultivating his Dou Qi. A faint stream of Dou Qi energy condensed from the air and entered through every pore of his body. The Dou Qi circulated continuously through his meridians before finally flowing toward his dantian.

Xiao Yu could feel that the Dou Qi fed back from the tree was even purer, carrying a rich aura of life that nourished his meridians.

Sensing Yun Yun's return, Xiao Yu stopped cultivating and opened his eyes. A faint green glimmer flashed deep within them. Seeing that he had finished, Yun Yun handed him one of the fruits she had just picked.

Xiao Yu did not think much of it and took it directly. With one bite, sweet juice filled his mouth.

"Mmm, this fruit is so sweet!" Yun Yun said after taking a bite as well. Xiao Yu nodded. "It is pretty good. How come we never found it before?"

Not long after eating the fruit, Xiao Yu felt that something was off with his body. He hurriedly circulated his Dou Qi through his meridians, but found nothing abnormal. Still, it felt as though a fire were burning inside him.

"Mmph!" A muffled groan came from beside him, though it sounded soft and weak.

Xiao Yu looked at Yun Yun beside him in surprise, only to find that she seemed to be in the same state. Her pretty face was flushed crimson, and a faint rosy tint had risen over her fair skin. Her body twisted uneasily, while her bright eyes gradually turned hazy. "W-What is happening?" Yun Yun still retained a trace of clarity as she asked in a trembling voice, filled with embarrassment and anger.

Xiao Yu sharply realized that the fruit was likely the problem and hurriedly asked, "What fruit did you find just now? What did it look like?"

Yun Yun asked in confusion, "You think there was something wrong with that fruit?"

"What else could it be? We haven't eaten anything else!" Xiao Yu said, suppressing the rising heat within him as his face reddened slightly.

Yun Yun quickly described the fruit tree's appearance. Xiao Yu soon found a fruit matching her description in the Alchemy Canon, and his expression immediately changed. "Damn, you really are a genius. You can run into anything. That was a Union Fruit!"

"Ah?" Yun Yun cried out in shock. Then, due to the seal left by the Purple Crystal Winged Lion King within her, a desire rising from the depths of her soul surged into her mind, and her gaze instantly became unfocused.

"And that is your excuse for taking my chastity?" Yun Yun's beautiful eyes filled with mist, her face flushed with shame and anger.

"Fine. If we can't talk this out, then there's nothing to say. Kill me or cut me apart, do whatever you want!" Xiao Yu knew this could not be explained clearly, so he simply stopped talking. He closed his eyes and waited for death.

"You!" Yun Yun was furious at his attitude, yet no matter what, she could not bring herself to strike with the sword in her hand.

Yun Yun looked at the handsome young man before her, and a tear slipped from her beautiful eyes. In an icy voice, she said, "Let us pretend that what happened today never occurred. Never let me see you again!"

With that, Yun Yun took the Purple Spirit Crystal and walked out of the cave. The green wings on her back beat once, and she shot into the sky. The powerful aura of a Dou Huang was fully revealed. In an instant, the high-level magical beasts that had been tirelessly searching the Monster Mountain Range for their trail were so frightened that they sprawled on the ground, not daring to provoke the human radiating an icy aura in the sky.

"Human, you have finally appeared!" A furious roar came from the mountain peak. Then the enormous body of the Purple Crystal Winged Lion King appeared, rushing swiftly toward Yun Yun!
