Madam Lan crawled up to Xiao Yu with a coquettish smile, hugged his lower leg, and fawned, "This young hero is the true hero. That Hermon is nothing but a petty man, like dog shit in a stinking gutter. How could he possibly compare to a young master like you?"

Hearing the woman who had just been acting coy in his arms insult him like this, Hermon's face immediately twisted with rage. Unable to hold back, he cursed darkly, "You bitch! Xiao Yu merely said flatly, "Did I give you permission to speak?"

Madam Lan hurriedly echoed, "Exactly, exactly. Did the young master give you permission to speak?"

Hearing Madam Lan's words, Hermon coughed up another mouthful of blood. Xiao Yu glanced at Madam Lan, and the ruthlessness in his eyes made her shudder. Then Xiao Yu slapped her across the face.

Xiao Yu replied irritably, "If I liked women like her, would I have beaten her into that state? I don't like promiscuous women!"

Looking down at Hermon on the ground, Xiao Yu said, "Didn't your Wolf Head Mercenary Group receive any news from your second commander, Gan Mu? Even if you didn't receive any news, surely everyone in the Wolf Head Mercenary Group isn't stupid enough not to realize that Gan Mu had already died in the Monster Mountain Range?"

Xiao Yu nodded. "Alright, I'll go with you."

Xiao Yi Xian nodded slightly and led Xiao Yu toward the Myriad Medicine Pavilion.

The Myriad Medicine Pavilion's business was still the most bustling in town. It did not seem to have declined because of Xiao Yi Xian's departure. Steward Yao happened to be in the shop that day, checking the medicinal ingredients. From afar, he saw Xiao Yi Xian walking toward him, and a trace of delight appeared on his face.

He had long heard that Xiao Yi Xian had obtained quite a few treasures in that cave. Now that she had delivered herself right to his doorstep, he certainly could not let her go. Steward Yao smiled sinisterly, summoned several guards to his side, and quietly gave them instructions before walking toward Xiao Yi Xian with a smile on his face.

"Haha, I never expected Xiao Yi Xian to visit my Myriad Medicine Pavilion today. I must treat you properly and hope you'll stay a little longer!" Steward Yao wore an eager smile, though it looked rather fake.

Xiao Yi Xian's expression did not change in the slightest. She merely said calmly, "I only came back to take some things that belong to me. I'll leave once I have them."
