If the person being tested had a Fire nature, the paper would burn. If they had a Water nature, it would get soaked. If they had a Wind nature, it would be cut. If they had a Lightning nature, it would wrinkle. If they had an Earth nature, it would crumble.
After Qingyun focused his chakra, the Chakra Induction Paper first wrinkled, then was cut apart, and finally burned up.
"Lightning, Wind, and Fire. It looks like your chakra is more inclined toward these three natures," the Third Hokage said.
"Teacher Sarutobi, does that mean I can only use ninjutsu of these three chakra natures?" Qingyun asked, looking a little foolish. He genuinely hadn't known that.
"Of course not. The Chakra Induction Paper can only tell you which natures your chakra is more inclined toward. If you have Water Release chakra, you can still use Fire Release Ninjutsu. It'll just be more difficult for you, that's all," the Third Hokage explained.
"Also, the Chakra Induction Paper only reveals your innate chakra natures. They may still change in the future." The Third Hokage and Qingyun stopped dwelling on chakra natures.
"The Sarutobi Clan specializes in Fire Release, and some of its members are skilled in Wind Release as well. Your chakra happens to include both Fire Release and Wind Release, so I can teach you those two. As for Lightning Release, I know a little about it too."
"However, I don't know how much chakra you have or what your limits are, so I have an idea."
"You and I will have a match," Hiruzen Sarutobi said seriously.
Qingyun was a little stunned.
"Teacher, are you serious?" Qingyun asked.
"Of course. You don't need to hold back against me. I know everyone keeps a few trump cards hidden, but you don't need to. I'll find somewhere deserted, and you can use every ounce of your strength to try to defeat me."
"I want to see where your true limits lie," Hiruzen Sarutobi said.
"That way, I can teach you better. What do you think?" Hiruzen Sarutobi asked.
Qingyun didn't know what to say. He was going to fight the Third Hokage, who was in his prime. If he didn't hold back, he'd need to come up with a good explanation afterward.
Just then, the system suddenly spoke.
"Hello, host! You have triggered a new mission! Give it everything you've got! You don't need to hold back. Do your best to defeat the Third Hokage! Reward: one use of Turn Decay into Magic!"
Qingyun immediately wanted to trade away the Flying Thunder God Technique. It was powerful, but since the Rumble-Rumble Fruit let him teleport, the technique suddenly seemed far less useful.
He'd be even happier if he could trade it for something truly incredible.
But could he actually defeat the Third Hokage?
Hiruzen Sarutobi looked at Qingyun and smiled. "Don't worry. I know you have quite a few abilities, like the one that turns your arm black, and even one that makes people feel numb... If you don't want to reveal your trump cards, then come with me."
"Being able to keep up with me is a display of strength in itself."
The Third Hokage didn't waste any time. He immediately raced toward the Konoha Forest at tremendous speed.
Seeing this, Qingyun hurried after him. He didn't teleport. Even if he planned to use it, he'd wait until they were somewhere deserted. If anyone saw him teleport, his trump card would be exposed.
Before long, Qingyun had left Konoha. The Konoha Forest lay right beside the village, and it was said that the First had created it with Deep Forest Emergence.
The Third Hokage was easy to find. A few Anbu seemed to be accompanying him. Qingyun sensed his location, teleported, and appeared right in front of them.
"Was that the Flying Thunder God Technique?" Even the Third Hokage was startled. He was the Hokage, and he'd rushed here at full speed, yet the next moment Qingyun had appeared in front of him. Was this even humanly possible?
Qingyun was only four! The only explanation Hiruzen could think of was that he'd learned the Flying Thunder God Technique.
Qingyun really had learned the Flying Thunder God Technique, but he hadn't used it just now.
The Third Hokage forcibly calmed himself and said, "These are Anbu from Konoha, members of the Barrier Team. They'll create a barrier, so no one will know what happens inside."
"That way, you can fight me without any worries," the Third Hokage said, looking at Qingyun.
With nothing left to worry about, Qingyun nodded.
"Fine." Qingyun then walked with the Third Hokage to the center of the four Anbu. They quickly spread out, then formed Hand Seals together and used some kind of barrier ninjutsu.
Soon, Qingyun and the Third Hokage were both enveloped in darkness. Even the four Anbu couldn't sense what was happening inside.
The Third Hokage once again set aside his Hokage robes and pipe. He didn't underestimate Qingyun at all; he had his helmet and armor on, fitted perfectly.
Qingyun didn't need to change his gear, because the clothes he was wearing already had damage-reducing and transformation effects.
"This is how I usually fight. Teacher Sarutobi, are you sure you want me to use my full strength?" Qingyun asked again.
"Of course." Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded firmly.
"Then let's begin!" Qingyun shouted. His entire presence changed in an instant.
"Armament Haki!" This time, Qingyun tried to coat both his legs and fists in Armament Haki. The hardening made them incredibly tough.
"Teleport!" Qingyun immediately used the Rumble-Rumble Fruit to teleport beside the Third Hokage.
"Good grief! That wasn't the Body Flicker Technique! It was teleportation! The Flying Thunder God?" The Third Hokage was startled.
"Summoning Technique!" The Third Hokage was even faster. By the time Qingyun shouted for the match to begin, he had already summoned his Adamantine Staff.
Hiruzen Sarutobi swung the Adamantine Staff with great strength, moving with agility. The bearing of a Shinobi Hero was on full display.
"Bang!" Qingyun's fist slammed into Hiruzen Sarutobi, who narrowed his eyes, taking the fight seriously. His reflexes were lightning-fast.
He immediately held the Adamantine Staff horizontally, blocking Qingyun's fist with pinpoint accuracy.
But Qingyun had put at least eighty percent of his strength into that punch. Tsunade's Chakra Enhanced Strength, Armament Haki, and the Rumble-Rumble Fruit's lightning had all erupted at once.
"Ah!" Even Hiruzen Sarutobi sucked in a sharp breath. Enma, the monkey that made up the staff itself, cried out too.
That power reminded Hiruzen Sarutobi of his student, Tsunade. She also possessed terrifying strength, yet the child standing before him was only four years old—and his strength was no less than hers.
And it wasn't just his strength. Qingyun had used Armament Haki Hardening, so he didn't need a weapon; his own body was his weapon. Even a sharp weapon wouldn't hurt him if it struck his body, unless it could completely break through his Armament Haki.
Not to mention, Qingyun also had a divine artifact: the incredible Sage Robe, which could reduce damage and change its form!
