Within one of the most powerful massive hives on the wasteland of Terra, priests clad in blue-and-white religious robes held daggers as they slaughtered sacrifices offered to the gods before a towering statue shrouded in shadow.

The sacrifices trembled violently. Bound before the priests and unable to resist, their vocal organs had been completely removed, leaving them unable even to scream in terror.

As the priests carried out this ritual slaughter, all the rulers of the Molanssen Alliance stood nearby, watching and waiting.

The temple was deathly silent. No one dared speak and disrupt the atmosphere while this sacred ritual was underway.

That was until a set of extremely heavy footsteps entered the temple, followed by an enraged roar that shattered its solemn and dignified atmosphere.

"You slaughtered several times more sacrifices than usual. What revelation did the gods grant you in return?"

The roar made the brass ornaments throughout the temple buzz, drawing every eye toward its source.

The priests stopped what they were doing, while the Alliance's upper ranks turned around in unison.

Then, without prior agreement, they made way for him—a path yielded almost instinctively, reflexively.

A man far larger than an ordinary human, clad in heavy armor, was surrounded by the gene-modified warriors that were the Alliance's proudest military force. The group strode menacingly toward the statue and priests in the shadows.

Wherever the muscular man passed, everyone lowered their heads in salute. No one dared meet his gaze, nor did anyone dare utter even a syllable when they had not been the one questioned.

This was the ruler of the Molanssen Alliance, the Tyrant who stood above all others.
