Trazyn's words struck Tukamon's head like a heavy punch.
The latter staggered back repeatedly, as though avoiding some dreadful terror it already knew.
This fear was something Trazyn did not want to see, because it proved Tukamon was running away.
"No... impossible."
Tukamon retreated three meters. After stopping, it fell into thought, then, having reached a conclusion, feigned calm as it denied Trazyn's words.
"You, Trazyn, did the Silent King send you here to drive a wedge between us?"

So it deeply considered why Trazyn had been assigned by the Silent King to deliver the seal, and what the Silent King's intentions were.
Then this leader of the Kasa Dynasty, who was the least like a Kasa, thought of one possibility: the Silent King was going to play that old trick of shifting contradictions again.
Tukamon further assumed its speculation was true and put itself in the Silent King's position to consider the next move—driving a wedge between the Kasa Dynasty and the C'tan.
At first, these had merely been assumptions Tukamon could not be certain of. But now Trazyn had come here, and everything he said implied that the Forger was not truly the Forger. It was difficult not to become suspicious.
As for Trazyn's purpose in coming here... Tukamon could not be sure. It only had one guess that seemed unlikely to it: the Silent King had gained nothing from
