"I will wage a war capable of completely erasing a species from the galaxy."

"Just as we exterminated the Old Ones."

Imotekh raised a hand and pointed across the territory of the entire human species.

Just as it was about to continue expounding upon its grand strategy, Kallon Dynasty's Overlord spoke up mockingly. "There is no glory in the war you are about to wage. With nothing more than our technological advantage, we can make humanity completely transparent to us in terms of military intelligence. You are merely a giant extending its foot toward ants."

"Watch your words." Imotekh turned toward the Overlord who dared provoke it. Crushing gravity instantly pinned Overlord Koren to the floor, leaving him unable to move. "I have not used advanced intelligence-gathering technology. Even though such technology could tell me how many body hairs an enemy commander has, I despise wars without a contest."

"Everything I gathered was obtained through traditional and fair means."

"Every piece of information you see was!"

The previously quiet representatives of the various dynasties suddenly began exchanging words, each trying to guess what fair and traditional method Imotekh had used to acquire such detailed intelligence.

Some believed the Imperium of Man was simply too vast and cumbersome. They could not even bridge the technological gap, much less contend with Imotekh, who had once fought the Old Ones, in gathering and counter-gathering intelligence.

Some believed Imotekh had still used advanced intelligence-gathering technology. Perhaps Orikan the Diviner, the most formidable diviner, had assisted it.

Others believed Imotekh was simply talking nonsense, and that everything it displayed was false.

Only Silent King Szarekh and several Pharaohs skilled in strategy believed that what Imotekh had shown was real—not only its intelligence on humanity, but also the weaknesses of this arrogant military commander.
