Nagase Ken walked through the corridor toward the Lord of Flame's office. Before entering, he noticed an Adeptus Custodes from the Lord of Thunder waiting outside the door.
After glancing at the Adeptus Custodes, Nagase Ken pushed the door open and entered.
He had more urgent matters to report, so he took priority.
"Lord of Flame."
Nagase Ken performed the customary salute after entering, then delivered his report.
"The war between the Alliance and the Peacock Dynasty will inevitably end in the Alliance's victory. Commander Taranis and the frontline command wish to know what arrangements will be made for the Peacock Dynasty afterward."
Qin Mo considered this, then gave his usual response.
"Before residential and industrial districts have been established, ensure that the Peacock Dynasty's civilians enjoy a standard of living superior to what they had when they served that so-called Tiger King leader. Do not impose military rule unless necessary."
"A Titan production line will be built on its broadest plains. Please have General Taranis ensure the safe transport of the Titan production equipment. The Thunder Warriors must handle this."
Having received his answer, Nagase Ken saluted respectfully.
But he did not leave. Instead, he glanced toward the doorway and said with a smile, "Over on the Lord of Thunder's side, it's always mankind this, humanity that... yet all they use are augmented humans. They call ordinary troops auxiliary forces. I truly wonder whether the human race the Lord of Thunder speaks of includes the ordinary people they speak of."
"Compare that to us."
"We issue the best equipment and supplies to Army soldiers. We make broad use of ordinary soldiers instead of modifying them until they resemble mutants."
Hearing this, Qin Mo, who had been writing something with his head lowered, looked up and stared at
