With a bone-chilling roar, the Chieftain, having lost its lower body, thrashed on the ground.

The beam struck its lower half, leaving a smooth, cauterized wound.

"Got it!" Qin Mo exclaimed in surprise, accelerating and charging straight for the injured Chieftain.

Grey and Grot flanked Qin Mo, right and left, using their shotgun lasers to carve a path for him through the torrent of rebels.

The other three followed behind, clearing out the rebels attempting to surround them from the rear.

As they advanced, they noticed tears flowing from the corners of every rebel infantryman's eyes.

The Chieftain's pain was being transmitted through the psychic network. While the other individuals couldn't feel it directly, they were willing to pay any price to prevent the Chieftain from suffering again.

As the rebels surged like a flood against the gravity shield, outer rebels began to converge on the Chieftain. They positioned themselves in front of the Chieftain and Qin Mo's group, acting as meat shields while simultaneously pushing the Chieftain forward.

The rebels were weeping, wailing, and even begging.

But Qin Mo only wished to amplify their suffering.

"Meat shields? Do you think I designed different firing modes for the Shoulder Cannon for nothing?" Qin Mo aimed his Shoulder Cannon at the Chieftain's location again and fired.

The beam carved a straight line through the sea of rebels.

But just as it was about to hit the meat shields and the Chieftain itself, a psychic suddenly blocked the Chieftain, unleashing a purple barrier.

The beam was deflected by the barrier, carving another straight line through the rebels until the energy contained within the beam was depleted.

This psychic was clearly not like the other weaklings among the Gene Stealers. She casually blocked the beam and stood before the Chieftain as if unmovable.

Qin Mo realized she was a Bishop.

Beside the Bishop stood six guards clad in purple robes and wielding longswords, further confirming her Bishop status for Qin Mo.

The Gene Stealer guard's combat effectiveness was high; they could kill their targets before the targets even realized they had been detected.

But Qin Mo wasn't intimidated by them, as these individuals couldn't do much right now. Were they going to charge directly into the gravity shield's range?

The Chieftain extended its claws towards the Bishop, resting them on her shoulder.

The Bishop raised her hand and unleashed psychic lightning. These bolts converged and then exploded, causing the gravity shields on Qin Mo and the others to cease functioning.

This sudden move caught Qin Mo off guard. He couldn't figure out how the psychic lightning had disabled the gravity shields.

But it didn't matter; purely physical constructs were still reliable.

As a large number of rebels swarmed Qin Mo and his group, threatening to crush them, the gravity shields reactivated under the control of the combat system, once again able to crush enemies that got too close.

The reactivation was astonishingly fast, not even giving the guards time to launch an attack. They still stood there with imposing presence, like an insurmountable defense line.

The Bishop wasn't the only one on the battlefield capable of unleashing lightning.

Qin Mo maintained his charge, raising his hand simultaneously.

A bolt of lightning struck the Bishop's location, covering enemies within a hundred-meter radius.

The power of this lightning was temporarily inferior to the Shoulder Cannon, but it was the power of a god in the material universe.

The Bishop's psychic barrier was pierced, but the Chieftain shielded her body, taking a blow that was not fatal to it.

However, a look of confusion that Qin Mo could decipher appeared on the Chieftain's twisted, terrifying alien face.

Both sides harbored incomprehensible puzzles regarding the other. For instance, the Chieftain couldn't fathom how someone could craft so many terrifying weapons in the Underhive, let alone pinpoint its existence.

Qin Mo also couldn't understand how the Bishop had managed to disable the gravity shields earlier.

But it didn't matter.

Qin Mo had reached a distance of only two hundred meters from the Chieftain. This distance could be quickly covered by the jetpack.

The jetpack's nozzles rotated downwards, propelling Qin Mo into the air. As he descended, he could see the panic on the faces of everyone around the target.

The Bishop was the first to be rescued by her guards, vanishing from the battlefield in the blink of an eye.

This seemed to be the Chieftain's command; otherwise, the Bishop and guards would have prioritized ensuring the Chieftain's survival.

Then Qin Mo landed.

Squelch.

Without any offensive action, enemies in a small radius around Qin Mo's landing spot died because they were within the gravity shield's effect.

Under the crushing force of the gravity shield, the Chieftain lasted less than three seconds before its massive body was flattened into a two-dimensional pattern on the metal ground.

The Chieftain was dead.

Objective achieved.

The rebels on the battlefield collapsed instantly. Some ran in all directions, others knelt on the ground and wailed uncontrollably, and some even slit each other's throats.

At this moment, Qin Mo had the leisure to carefully consider his plan.

Achieving the objective was not a stroke of luck.

The Gene Stealer population within Hive Terra had not grown strong. The reason they initiated the rebellion was simply that they were discovered and exposed; otherwise, there would have been not hundreds of thousands, but tens of millions, or even billions.

Using constructs like the Praetorian power armor and locators against such a small group of pests was bound to be effective.

"May whoever first discovered you bastards be safe," Qin Mo deactivated the gravity shield, took out a biological tissue extraction device from his backpack, and began extracting biological tissue from the Chieftain's corpse.

First is the first tube.

Then, Qin Mo took Grey's extraction equipment and extracted the second tube, the third tube... until the extraction equipment of all six people was filled with the Chieftain's biological tissues.

These biological tissues included limbs and muscles, as well as exoskeletons and brain tissue, and of course, blood.

"Energy is running low," Grey reminded Qin Mo while firing his Shoulder Cannon.

From the start of the battle until now, everyone's Shoulder Cannon had been almost non-stop. While Qin Mo focused on dealing with the Chieftain, the others were responsible for using their Shoulder Cannons to cause mass casualties among the rebels, reducing the overall pressure as much as possible.

"I know," Qin Mo nodded, then stood up and called for a transport drone.

"Do you want us to scoop it up and put it on the transport?" Grot asked.

"No need, it's enough," Qin Mo shook his head.

Amidst the incredibly chaotic rebels, the six waited quietly for the transport drone to arrive, then jumped onto it and returned.

"This war isn't over yet," Grey said, looking down at the rebels being pursued by their ground forces below the transport drone. "That Bishop is still alive."

"Of course, it's not over, we've barely killed any rebels," Qin Mo nodded, then took out the biological tissues he had extracted. "But it will be over soon, I promise."

Qin Mo was confident that he could use these biological tissues to create a gene weapon targeting the Gene Stealers, which would spread throughout Hive Terra like insecticide.

When, in the distant future, another Chieftain fell upon this planet and prepared to spread its bloodline, it would be annihilated by the gene weapon remnants in the environment.
