For five days, the Logistics Machines worked at full capacity to produce the teleportation protection devices.

To make the teleportation protection devices more convenient to carry, Qin Mo miniaturized them and integrated them into the backpacks on the backs of the regular soldiers' power armor. The Terminator Power Armor was also integrated with protection devices, of course.

Since interstellar travel was not immediately necessary, Qin Mo did not continue researching dimensional technology to invent a dimensional engine. Instead, he first attended to another important matter.

That was to turn Yao En into a warrior.

Outside the fortress, Grey and Grot were fighting Yao En. All three were wearing Terminator Power Armor.

Qin Mo, meanwhile, observed silently from the side, recording Yao En's various data.

"Too cowardly!" Grey yelled as he fired his shotgun laser at Yao En. "You're just as cowardly as you were when you faced the mutant spiders in the passage, only you haven't been scared witless yet!"

Yao En dodged in a panic, but Grey's shotgun laser kept hitting him, only to be absorbed by the power armor.

"1,420 hits," Qin Mo said somewhat helplessly.

Yao En did have combat potential, just like all other Underhive dwellers.

But he was too self-conscious and cowardly. Faced with Grey's attacks, he didn't dare to counterattack and only dodged. How could someone who had just put on Terminator Power Armor possibly evade Grey's attacks?

"Stop dodging, damn it!" Grot lunged forward and kicked Yao En down, then straddled him and repeatedly punched him in the head.

Yao En's helmeted head hit the ground with every impact. He endured the shock from Grot's fists and the impact with the ground, his mind becoming somewhat dazed.

"That's enough," Qin Mo raised his hand to stop them.

Grot immediately got up and retreated, glaring at Yao En with anger.

After a moment to recover, Yao En got up, took off his helmet, and apologized to Qin Mo. "I'm sorry I disappointed you."

"No, people need time to grow and learn. You just need more guidance," Qin Mo said, shaking his head slightly, then looked at Grot.

Although he didn't speak, Grot understood Qin Mo's meaning. He walked over to Yao En, grabbed him by the neck, and forced him to stand up. "From now on, I'll teach you a good lesson so you learn how to fight. You're practically defiling the power armor you're wearing!"

After Grot took Yao En away, Grey suddenly felt a sense of relief. He breathed a sigh and looked at Qin Mo. "If you'll forgive me for saying so, this person is really not suited to be a soldier."

"Not suited for now, but it's fine. Grot will teach him," Qin Mo replied.

Grey couldn't understand why Qin Mo was so persistent about Yao En, but he knew that Qin Mo had his reasons for everything he did.

"About the Servants... what do you think?" Qin Mo asked.

Grey immediately remembered Qin Mo ordering him to monitor the Servants yesterday and answered without hesitation, "The Servants have undoubtedly betrayed the Emperor."

Qin Mo nodded.

But Grey hesitated for a moment, then said in a low voice, "But I don't think it's wrong for them to believe in you. Because you're the one who led us out of desperation. The miracles you've shown..."

"I also think I'm a god, but I don't need their faith. And their faith might lead to them being exploited," Qin Mo lowered his voice. "Imagine if these people were corrupted by something strange and suddenly became rebels..."

Grey didn't understand this statement. He didn't know why the Servants would be corrupted or what could corrupt them.

As one of the vast majority of commoners in the Imperium, Grey was unaware of the existence of Chaos.

"Forget it," Qin Mo couldn't explain much to Grey. After all, he wasn't an untouchable. "How about this: go and warn them, tell them not to spread their faith anymore, because I am the Emperor's emissary."

"Yes..." Grey nodded and turned to leave.

As he watched Grey leave, Qin Mo savored the words "Emperor's emissary."

Then, Qin Mo couldn't hold back his laughter. He thought that if he wasn't worried about Chaos taking the opportunity to corrupt them or the Ecclesiarchy causing trouble, he would have gladly accepted the worship from the Servants.

Five days later.

All ground troops were mobilized and assembled to receive their protection devices. Duncan also received his protection device, which replaced the ordinary backpack on his power armor.

At the same time, Duncan received a direct order from Qin Mo: to be the first person to be teleported and leave the Underhive. He was to deploy a teleportation beacon outside the blocked passage to ensure the success of the main force's teleportation.

After the teleportation device was fully charged and Duncan was ready, he was teleported out of the Underhive.

The moment the teleportation began, the protection device released a shield, so Duncan did not suffer the torment that the first criminal to use teleportation did.

After the Master Control Intelligence performed extensive calculations and determined the optimal teleportation location, Duncan was sent into the dimensional channel.

It was a peculiar experience.

When Duncan lowered his head, he could see his own body, and the surrounding environment began to blur, but he could clearly sense what was around him.

Until Duncan felt something pull him back into his body, and after re-acclimating, he found that everything around him had changed.

Behind him was a large open area. The giant building in the distance was the checkpoint leading to the Underhive, which was completely blocked.

In front of him was the defensive position established by the combined efforts of the Planetary Defense Force and the Hive City's Adeptus Arbites.

After the teleportation ended, Duncan looked at the defensive position ahead and saw that countless heavy weapons were aimed at him. The soldiers on the position had their rifles resting on the cover, ready for combat.

At this moment, a general, accompanied by people from the Adeptus Arbites, arrived at the forefront of the defensive position. He looked at Duncan with immense astonishment, his jaw almost falling to the ground.

This person in power armor had appeared out of thin air. Others had only seen an energy rift appear at the spot where Duncan was standing.

"Are you human or xenos?" the general asked loudly.

Duncan took off his helmet, revealing his true face. "I am Duncan, Regimental Commander of the 87th Infantry Regiment, First Legion."

"The 87th Regiment? Are you talking nonsense?" The general glanced incredulously at the blocked passage. "How can you possibly still be alive?"

Duncan pulled out a beacon and turned, throwing it back with all his might.

After landing, the spherical beacon immediately secured itself, its shell unfolding to reveal a positioning data transmitter.

Everyone except Duncan was utterly bewildered, not knowing what he was doing.

"I'm still alive," Duncan glared at the general, his tone icy. "We're all still alive."

Numerous energy rifts appeared on the open ground. Drones that generated gravity shields were the first to materialize, followed by Grey and others clad in Terminator Power Armor, then other infantry, tanks, Artillery Drones, Logistics Machines

A neatly arrayed army, ready for combat, was teleported in.

Seeing this, the general's dry lips parted slowly, "The Emperor above..."
