Chen Ye and the Guard warriors executed a neat skid to a stop before the ruins, then dismounted their bikes and hurried toward the point where the detector's signal was strongest.
Yao En, who had accompanied them here, slowed down and switched from a sprint to a walk.

"The war's almost over. It won't matter if one Custodian is missing."

Yao En only needed to explain it to Chen Ye once on the way here, and Chen Ye could figure out how to use the C'tan device in his hands.
