The Archon lowered her head in thought, calculating how she could separate the Primarchs from the others.

As for capturing the Primarchs along with everyone else as hostages, that was clearly unrealistic. If Commorragh had possessed a way to kill this Primarch back then, they would not have needed to imprison him in the Webway.

While Aray was lost in thought, Chagatai listened as the others discussed the war.

It had begun with Aray betraying her own kind over an Ancient Eldar Empire relic, continued with Lisun the Rogue Trader earning the sector's trust, then the Thunder Warriors charging toward death to open the portal, and finally led to the present.

When Yao En said that Aray had betrayed her own people for an Ancient Eldar Empire relic, Chagatai was not surprised in the slightest.

From what he knew of these Aeldari, betraying their own kind for ancestral relics they treasured was hardly shocking. Even betraying their own kind for amusement would not have been surprising.

After recounting these events, Yao En looked at Aray again. "There are probably quite a few Old Eldar Relics in this Webway. Don't you want to look for them?"

Aray answered calmly, "What I care about more now is when we can leave this damned place."

The instant she finished speaking, a stunned look appeared on Chagatai's face, and he sharply turned to look at Aray.

But his shock soon vanished, and he concealed his surprise, merely paying a little more attention to this Conspiracy Cabal Archon.

"Soon." Yao En rose and walked to one side, using the communication device in his Terminator Power Armor to contact the outside world.

He received a response quickly.
