Before Horus persuaded the Primarchs to head to the Tyran Sector, and while Scholar and Magnus deciphered the New Humanity plan, the new Thunder Warriors had not been idle either.
As Fabius's twisted creations relentlessly attacked the laboratory entrance, the new Thunder Warriors spent most of their time assisting the Iron Men in defending the entrance and the giant whale that could carry them away.
Occasionally, they also assisted Inquisitor Eisenhorn in gathering intelligence, or intervened in the war between the Death Guard and Khorne's servants, assassinating officers on both sides or banishing the Greater Demons they summoned.
This time, the new Thunder Warriors had deployed once again. Their target was to eliminate the New Humanity members holding out in a laboratory somewhere on Brumm that Fabius had forgotten.
However, this time it would not be just the new Thunder Warriors. Guilliman among the clone Primarchs was also taking part in the operation.
Guilliman had acted under Horus's instructions. His task was to observe the new Thunder Warriors' tactics and combat style, then compile a detailed dossier for all the clone Primarchs to study.
After all, the clone Primarchs would eventually have to disguise themselves as the new Thunder Warriors' generals. They would surely need to work together for a very, very long time, so it was necessary for them to understand one another.
But before the operation officially began, Bandis, commander of the new Thunder Warriors, had to do something for Guilliman.
"Wear his spare equipment, Primarch."
Bandis walked over to Guilliman and handed him a set of new Thunder Warrior equipment.
Then the commander turned to look at one of his subordinates.
The equipment given to Guilliman came from that subordinate, who was somewhat shorter than the other new Thunder Warriors.
