"You'd better be able to provide the finest testing ground for my War Machines, just as your servant claimed."

When the Daemon Prince called Slayer opened his mouth to speak, every syllable in his voice sounded like cannon fire. Simply listening to him gave those present the strange feeling of standing on a battlefield.

Though both were Khorne Daemon Princes, Slayer looked quite different from Ubondrak.

Slayer wore many clearly industrial ornaments. A string of miniature Heavy Cannons cast from bone hung around his neck, while his armor was adorned with brass decorations resembling explosions and crude machinery.

Everything about him told those present that Slayer was no ordinary servant of the Blood God.

"You will find things exactly as I said. There is plenty here for you to unleash your talents!" Ubondrak led Slayer past the Drakasi nobles and over to a data slate.

The data slate contained information about the entire laboratory.

As he browsed that information, Slayer gradually understood the laboratory's purpose and inferred why he had been invited here.

"I forge weapons in the Empyrean for the wars between the gods."

"But I am equally interested in constructing military works."

"Have your Drakasi prepare everything I require, and I can build you an Engineering Marvel of military construction, as well as all manner of War Machines that will leave you astounded."

Slayer slowly laid out his demands and promises.

Ubondrak was not surprised in the slightest. Even though Slayer had seen through everything and proactively offered to construct military works and provide vast numbers of War Machines before he even spoke, Ubondrak still found nothing strange about it.

In the eyes of the Blood God's servants, Slayer was an exceptionally generous being. He was always willing to give away the weapons he created for others
